They all use Chademo connectors and air cooled batteries. Might be ok for puttering around town or as a commuter car, but that’s about it.
Volkswagen just paid Rivian a truckload of money because VW couldn’t figure out how to write EV controller software. It’s ridiculous.
This show has gotten scathingly horrible reviews.
I’ve been re-watching the Tom Baker era. I miss that “Hammer Horror” vibe.
What does VW get out of this?
The firmware on the remote was supposed to update after updating the AppleTV. I guess the update didn’t fix it. Pressing TV and volume down for a few seconds restarts the remote which usually fixes it for a while.
During Covid, they lent out multiple copies of the same book when they only had physical access to one copy. It would be like your local library making Xerox copies of their collection and handing them out. There’s no protections for that.
I’m gonna keep using my old watch until I see a compelling reason to upgrade (like built in blood pressure or blood sugar readings). So far I haven’t seen any new hardware or software updates that feel like must haves.
It will be interesting to see the upgrade numbers in a year. Do most people not care about AI, or will the user base be wary? Current numbers show around 77% uptake on iOS 17.

Really dumb, because it means your most talented employees will quit (because they can get a better offer elsewhere). This isn’t like a targeted layoff.

I really wish Apple had shipped this thing. There was also a tablet sized Newton in the works which would have been great.
That’s what the mobile hotspot feature is for on the cellphone you’re already paying for.
Maybe that software doesn’t need to be so fucking “complex”. It’s a web browser. Stop cramming everything but the kitchen sink into it. Half of the crap in web browsers like WebGL and WASM should be plugins anyway.
Does this mean in certain US states that you will have to provide ID in order to view X content?

Not enough mini figs waiting in line for tech support.
Why is Google determined to kill one of its cash cows? Cramming AI into search results feels like “New Coke”.
Is Google Gemini that AI product that told people to put glue on their spaghetti?
