If Ubuntu works for you then by all means use it, but if you’re a computer guy already installing Arch the long way isn’t that hard and they even have an install script now.

When I did mine, I drove myself home and put a bag of peas on there for the afternoon. I was fine pretty much right away, but I think medical advice says wait 3 days before you do anything wild.

Plus you have to ejaculate like 30 times in two weeks to clean out the pipes, but your sperm is still active so you can only do hand and mouth stuff. That was a pretty good two weeks.

It’s literally so easy and the peace of mind is really nice especially if you’re impulsive as fuck like me.

The sound is honestly not bad, better and less hassle than an FM transmitter. There are 3.5 mm ones too that work pretty well but I had a few of them and they fail where the cable meets the cassette. I passed it on to a friend with a whole house cassette system when I got my new Cadillac

I bought this for my old Cadillac that only had a tape deck and it was amazing (with a Bluetooth cassette). I haven’t used it since I got rid of that old Cadillac about two years ago now. Pretty limited use case but it still sucks to kill shit for no reason.

Ugh I switched to Arch full time 5 years ago and I had to walk to the servers uphill both ways in the snow. Kids today don’t know how good they have it.

I used to drive a Benz, I hated it. Now I’m on my second Cadillac and I’m never going back. Cadillac makes a damn fine automobile tell ya what.

I’ve never heard that take before. Can you explain why you think there should be more apps instead of using the browser?

I was on Ubuntu, then I switched to Debian, then Mint. Then I was like wow if this is so good I’m gonna try some more, and I dove headfirst. I didn’t run a distro more than a couple hours sometimes, never more than a week.

Then I found Manjaro, which I tried and liked well enough except for all the Manjaro shit. I decided then that I could install Arch, how hard could it be? So I did, it took me like 3 days and I broke it dozens of times but I eventually got there (with sound even!) shortly before they brought back the install script. I want to try Gentoo but I don’t have time to compile everything, I understand they ship binaries now which I think is sweet but I’m happy with Arch.

I like Arch for it’s KISS philosophy, the DIY attitude with which you approach it, the fine-grained control over every (most) part of the system, the AUR. But my favorite thing about Arch is the Wiki. It’s such a great resource, and yeah it applies to more than just Arch but like … why?
