On one hand great, on the other, has the “Confirm you’re an adult” prompt ever stopped a curious young man who just learned the word, “boobs” from viewing adult imagery?

“So guys getting blown up in trenches in Ukraine by drones? Ha, totally not age-restricted,” the creator said. “ Me firing a 3D printed pink glock that I made? Age-restricted. We don’t need kids watching that. We want kids watching people getting blown up by mines. Love it. Awesome.”
Guys missing the corpo bottom line.
Gun manufacturers have gotten sued by families of school shooting victims. Youtube runs the risk of getting dragged into court because little Billy sees the 3D printed pink glock, decides that he can make that, that its time to fuck up some bullies, and then after that those bullies parents shoot lawyers in every direction (which includes Youtube, even if the odds of getting anything are minimal) like mushroom spores. That risk assessment doesn’t exist for Ukraine war vids.
this reminds me of a story about someone who couldn’t talk but they had to scream, i think it was called, “the guy who stubbed his toe in the library”
Karens are different imo. Peggy would never call the cops on a black person, or present some distorted/dishonest version of events to a store manager/911. Shes just a narcissist. I could see an B plot of her getting pulled into a Karen’s orbit though.
Kahn I could definitely see doing some straight up Karen shit.
“Imagine if every time your car broke down, the only option you had for repair was the dealer. That’s not a world any of us want to live in,” said Sen. Jeff Bridges, a Democrat who is one of the bill’s sponsors, at an earlier committee hearing.
About that…
The law also excludes motor vehicles, but independent mechanics and car owners already have similar rights under a 2014 memorandum of understanding
Not sure if a “memorandum of understanding” has the same legal force behind it the bill does. Hope so.
Some progress is better then no progress, and TurboTax et. al. losing in any way is a victory for the rest of us.
It was played up for the show but I think many of us have a Peggy in our life.
I can see a logic behind it for the employees, even if you or I might disagree.
Too much shrinkage from theft -> Store unprofitable -> Store closes -> No job
Whether that is actually the case or not (idk how much expected shrink there is.) I couldn’t say, but that mindset I can 100% see.
Both disappointing and expected.
You just know the IT guy who restored it was like, “Y’ALL REAL QUIET WITH THAT ‘WHAT DO YOU EVEN DO HERE’ SHIT.”
What’s he gonna do, ban it?
For a second there I thought Steve Harvey and smirked a bit.
You can still install and play it. If it has cards you can earn them and get account xp from making sets of them, same with emotes and wallpapers. You can’t sell (or buy, obviously) any of that on the Steam marketplace though, but can still trade them. Achievements get a little wonky.
Source: I own Transformers: Devastation, which was delisted.
I was on 32pag.es before it died, and it an amazing comic tracker, still haven’t found comparable in public yet.
line must go up.
Pretty much guaranteed “buying” those eps was done under a user agreement that said something like, “You don’t own this and we can revoke your license whenever we want for whatever reason we want.”
You’ll own nothing and be happy
funny, i dont feel too happy
Feel like Sig Sauer et. al. might at least make a amicus curiae though, considering the legal ramifications.
Because the book and disc guys couldn’t figure out a way to stop you back then.
Nowadays college books have one time codes for tests, and games will sometimes have codes included for inportant unlocks to force used purchasers to pay up.
DrNotLikeUs gets his shit rocked, ya love to see it.
