I hate how accurate you are. There’s no other reason it would be government backed ESPECIALLY during war time where they’re pissing money away and losing their soldiers left and right without be able to fill the open spots.

I don’t like you.
Reddit has been the same since day one. You’re just being dramatic. They had plenty of stupid and off the wall shit that went just as this has. You’re being ridiculous old timer.
Genuinely curious, is there any major tech companies that haven’t done this? Our info is plastered everywhere nowadays due to this type of crap.
Have you ever checked back? I only ask because they restored loads of people’s deleted content. I had mine restored 3 different times. After my last purge I never checked back.
I’m kinda new to the scene so take what I say with a grain of salt. I have jellyfin running on a laptop and I use a roku stick to stream through. Not perfect by any means however it does what I need to do. I’ve been told using a raspberry PI would be a great budget option with more feature.
I use to torrent everything until Netflix and as competitors began popping up it was fine as it was convenient but now I can’t keep up with what’s where. Had to dust off the hat and learned to set up a server for jellyfin. I tried being fair but they got greedy
I honestly thought external drives were just plugged into the case and could be quickly popped out and used as an internal. Someone else provided a really indepth guide for me and this NAS isn’t capable of using jellyfin only plex so the plan is to go with PI and get that working
Wow this was such a great learning experience. For what I’m trying to achieve it would seem the PI option would be best. Trying to keep it budget friendly and only need to stream to 1 device. I’ve also been trying to justify buying a PI for awhile. The plethora of guides will make it pretty easy to set up based off what you provided and a quick bit of research. I should be able to learn Linux and CLI enough to set it up as well. Thank you for all of this information!
As someone who just finished dusting my hat off after 12 years and setting up jellyfin how do I get the content I need for it?
Is jellyfin only usable with computers or is there a way to use it with smart tvs/consoles?
You know he’s gonna talk about it soon
Meanwhile I would pray they would while I am so my family can get that good money lol
