It’s a little disingenuous to claim people should’ve stopped using something that hasn’t come to market yet. I was looking for other options when they started trying to force me to upgrade to Windows 11, but this absolutely is the last straw that I won’t use Windows on my next computer.
And I’m sure this in no way will invade people’s privacy.

Please no. I didn’t upgrade to Windows 11 on purpose. I’m just trying to hold out as long as I can until I’m forced to switch to Linux. I don’t want to have to deal with more enshittification in the meantime.
I’m still sad that we didn’t use ‘Ultra’, which means ‘beyond’ or ‘on the far side of’. Huge missed opportunity to be called Ultragender instead.

You can create a partition on your hard drive and set your PC up to dual-boot. I have no idea if this is still widely used or if there is another, better/easier way, but it’s what I did a long time ago for a hat simulator game.

There are dozens of reasons, and saying anyone with a critique of Nintendo should be required to boycott them is extreme. You can be critical of a company and still enjoy their products. How else do we get better products in the future if we don’t share feedback?
