yes, but it’s a body that has existed for more than 300 years, there must be some way to get an impression on it through the times :)

I’d like to have an idea of the history of MP pay in terms of the average salary to understand if this is a new thing, if they have always had side businesses and claimed “favours” later or if there is an actual decline in the status of “civic duty”.
There was Artifact 🤦

You’re telling me, buddy :D and not just for the obvious reasons that bring us to this community, some stuff on hard disks is also better than the “cloud”.
Still, one of the key aspects of piracy is discreteness and these debates and notoriety don’t help with that. Piracy does not look for you, you look for it, if you know how to find out how. The last thing I want is for every single Lemmy thread about netflix to have a top comment saying piracy is better than streaming.
I love that, it’s almost like how banks make money with loans: create money out of thin air, lend it, profit.
True, I agree, it’s not a big deal, just another account, but I can live with it, yes.
PS: but there is still a case to be made for eclectic instances that host a variety of content. Otherwise, if you pile all piracy with porn, weed and whatever legal gray areas it will be easier to pick them off. Same with politics, debatable science, etc. If you concentrate them too much, federation is moot.
Instance management styles reflect the variety of human personalities and tastes. There will always be a few power trippers, but at least now we can escape. Fuck u/spez@lemmy.world
So beehaw was right whey they defederated from .world, there is shadiness there…
PS: this is one of the best communities in the fediverse, good job.
I mean, it’s going to continue unhindered, but it will be less visible to new .world members, more underground, say…submarine piracy 🏴☠️ 😄 arghh
Well, that makes me feel marginally better for never having bought keys in gray market sites like my friend who doesn’t pirate because he’s afraid of viruses, but then does that to get “amazing discounts”.
I knew and use this, but I never thought to call it two clipboards :)
Plus I’d never heard of shift-ins, I just used ctrl-shift-c/v in graphic terminals :P
