Oh yeah for sure. Anything I type here is for the whole world to see and I’m okay with that as long as it’s anonymous.

There has been instances before where LLMs gave up clues as to what source it used. When that happens, they can be sued.
Im okay with people using our data for whatever, since it’s all open and it should be. But I rather put a little bit of effort to make for profit use technically illegal. It’s better than nothing.
Genuine question, do instances not have a GPL license on their content? With that license, anyone can use all the data but only for open source software.
That doesn’t mean it’s licensed to be used in a for profit software.
Just because our data is accessible doesn’t mean it’s legally licensed to be used by a for profit company. Free doesn’t meant you can do what you want with it, it just means no cost.
It isn’t ethical since the only people you can really sell on those services are the ones who should least get them.
Yes, all sales is essentially unethical unless all you do is provide info when asked.
Wait, did you take my comment as “pay doesn’t matter”???
Of course it matters. Just saying some do value their work intrinsically as opposed for only extrinsically.
I want to work, but the way I like to work.
If an employer only has a say in what I deliver, fuck yeah I want to work!
I have read those principles, many years ago.
Those principles sound great but they are not compatible with management.
If management is gonna be part of the picture then agile principles are not beneficial to a developer experience, regardless of what unachievable ideal they talk about.
It’s not Agile’s fault
Yes, yes it is. You don’t judge a system by some ideal that can’t be achieved. If it’s a system meant for humans you judge it based on what it does to said humans.
If agile makes managers more insufferable, then maybe it’s not a good tool for the problem at hand, working in companies with managers.
And cause of windows 11, those 20% are more relevant than ever.
Well in fact, pi depends on how big of a circle you’re measuring. Because of the square cube law, pi gets bigger the bigger the circle is. Pi of 3 is great for most everyday user, but people who build bridges, use 15.
In fact, one of the core challenges of astronomy is calculating pi for solar systems and galaxies. There is even an entire field for it called astropistonomy.
Calculating pi… it just keeps going on forever.
Ohhhh that makes it soo much better.
Cause if it was a joke post, the solution would be to label those.
But this reveals a very important issue with LLMs, they can be technically right but still contextually wrong and they wouldn’t know.
And that’s not even “hallucination”
Hahaha, current ML is basically good guessing, that doesn’t really transfer to building machines that actually have to obey the laws of physics.
You joke but how about exoskeletal legs that you rent? Like those scooter rentals
They are not an ambigrapher, can only make the line go up.
But the CDNs required to run a music streaming service are anything but cheap.
Yeah, I still think music streaming makes little sense cause usually people listen to songs over and over. Movie streaming makes more sense cause most people watch one title and not watch it again for years or ever.
I 100% agree with everything you said. It’s just that I thought people wouldn’t put up with the stuff Netflix has been pulling but I was wrong.
Music is different though…
Higher prices, worse quality, intrusive recommendations, ad filled basic tier?
It all depends on how much people are willing to put up with.
If that’s the case, then why not release a free home version??
