OP may want to look at Garuda’s gaming edition. It seems to have a lot of good gaming packages I usually end up installing myself and it’s based in Arch Linux
Fan of Linux, modifying firmwares, and open source software. Mostly here to kill time and contribute to Lemmy’s growth.
If you want to play a game together over XLinkKai shoot me a message. I have an original Xbox, PS2, and a PS3 I can use.

Not sure if it’s charming in the way you are looking for but Moon (2009) has high reviews and only takes about four hours to beat
That said, would you prefer that we have some extra activity here to keep things lively? Such as weekly or bi-weekly discussions on some particular topic? Or something like a reading club, to check out a particular game? Or some other idea?
Due to the size of this sub I feel like monthly might be a bit better. Some retro game subreddits like /r/sbcgaming and a few others have a monthly game highlight. Maybe this community could do something similar?
Next next, should this community be specific to just a) 3DS, b) 3DS+DS, c) all Ninty handhelds (except Switch)?
I’d probably say B. It seems like the right amount of niche for a community and the 3DS is backwards compatible with DS games. I mean you can go back further to GBA but then you are either kind of alienating 3DS users or getting into modding and flashcarts
But considering how intermittent they are and that a version already sounds like it exists without them I’d like to avoid that. That’s why I made this post after all
Yeah. I feel like they awkwardly break up the episode and don’t add a ton
That’s where I’m at
Yeah and there’s multiple music videos scattered around each episode
Have you ever seen a VHS recording of TV and how there’s intermittent ads?
It’s similar to that. If they were separate files I would have done that or deleted them later.
You could look into flashing a different firmware like DD-Wrt or Fresh Tomato. I use my second router to connect everything at my desk
I can’t say I blame them when it comes to going with what’s comfortable.
I used Windows and Linux while in school so it’s what I got used to. Whenever I use MacOS I feel incredibly lost
