They do
Have you played BG1 or 2?
BG3 is great. So far I’m thinking it’s the best CRPG of all time. I’d recommend it over DoS 1&2, which is saying a LOT because DoS2 is amazing.
Thronefall is a great, cozy game that still scratches my RTS itch.
I think New Star is probably only going to work for specific people. It has the look of Virtua Racer, with old school arcadey car feel, in Formula One style races with a career mode based on managing your sponsorships, pit crew, and engineers, while upgrading your car. It’s absolutely nothing like NFS.
I’d recommend it if you liked games like Rush and Cruis’n USA, and Formula One.
If you’re looking for something like NFS, NFS Heat was pretty solid. Forza Horizon 5 would be another game you might enjoy. Project Cars 3 is another solid Arcadey racer. I mostly play Sim and Simcade racers, so I don’t have a lot of recommendations for arcadey racers.
This will be my first clear weekend for a while.
I’ve been playing a BG3 campaign with my buddy when I got a few spare hours, so we’ll probably play that some this weekend.
I’ve also been playing Thronefall. Great, simple tower defense RTS kinda game.
Also been playing New Star GP. A retro style, arcadey Formula One game in a retro style similar to Virtua Racer from the devs that made Retro Bowl. It’s got a fun little career mode.
In the grand scheme of the media industry, they are. Moreover, Floatplane is a separate entity with < 50k users.
I don’t use Spotify, but yes, I pay for YouTube premium (which comes with YouTube Music, which I use instead of Spotify). I use YouTube a lot. $13.99 is not that much money for so much video and music content.
And I’m not saying don’t pirate anything ever. But come on, when people build a platform to try and do things right, to ethically support their creators, we ought to support those platforms.
It does when they can’t keep running the service anymore because your broke asses won’t support it.
It’s a small platform that costs a lot to run. Attempting to provide a fair and ethical alternative to YouTube.
Don’t use the service unless you’re going to support it.
Yeah, since May 2018
I’m not a fan of backup cams. But judging by how many people are, they should absolutely be included in every vehicle.
Look, I’m not the target market for this anyway, and I know that. But I won’t ever buy another car that doesn’t have both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Especially now that head units aren’t so simple to replace.
Like, no matter how good your software is when you release it, you’re not going to have the same level of support, frequency of updates, timelines of new feature releases, and actual hardware upgrades (via my phone) I’d get from you having AA or CarPlay.
Both AA and CarPlay have gotten pretty damn good in the last few years too.
I drive a 2008 Mustang and I finally replaced my head unit a couple years ago with the Sony XAV-AX5000 and it was the best upgrade I could’ve possibly made to my car. I was really feeling like getting something new because I wanted modern convenience and this $350 upgrade gave me the luxury of perpetually being up to date. The only downside is that it doesn’t have wireless AA, but hardly anything does.
And no, I’m not good with having just one. My last several phones have been Pixels, but my GF and my Best Friend have iPhones. I need to be able to do both seamlessly. Plus, I don’t want my car locking me in to a phone OS. If apple releases an iPhone with USB-C, AoD, side loading (all of which should be in the next phone), add better UI scaling options, and they fix the back gesture, I’ll want to switch and I don’t want my car to keep me from doing that.
Here’s a good guide, t’s old, but nothing should be too different.

Use radar instead of Couch Potato.
You can find up to date guides for any of the individual products.
I recommend NZBgeek’s lifetime subscription.
Then, set torrents as your news group’s backup and you should be good to go.
Spend an evening setting this up and you’ll be golden. Just subscribe to any shows or movies you want and it will automatically download them when they are available.
You can set preferences around quality, file size, language, format, etc
It’s safer, faster, more reliable, and much easier to automate.
I only paid $20 for a lifetime subscription.
Stop using torrents and start using newsgroups.
Well said. Funny though, I almost didn’t download the game because it had SO many issues in Early Access and I didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. Glad I listened to everyone else’s praise this last week.
Of all the people to pirate from, Floatplane shouldn’t be one of them…
Pay for it.
When developers actually put this much work into making an incredible experience, it should be rewarded. Otherwise, more andore developers will trend toward F2P, P2W, GAAS crap.
Yeah, it’s painfully obvious that’s the case.
