But putting that aside, if you want to compare the largest payload that each vehicle can transport you wouldn’t just use the pickup truck’s GVWR, you would also include it’s towing capacity. There’s a reason 90% of the time people use a pickup to haul something, they’re towing.

You’re comparing a pickup truck to a zeppelin, there’s no way to make that apples to apples. If someone needs to move something big with a truck they’re probably going to tow it, not try to load it into the bed.

Because of their smaller and the switch to helium Zeppelin NTs has a miniscule payload capacity at 4200 pounds. To put that into perspective that’s the same payload capacity as a Ford F250.

And that’s only the bed capacity. An F250 can tow over 20,000 lbs depending on the trailer design. Most trucks and SUVs can tow >4200lbs.

In those examples it’s not the speech that’s illegal, there’s a real crime that the speech is part of. False advertising is a form of fraud, but if there’s no fraud involved (satire, humor, education, etc) it’s legal.

No, yuzu’s main problem was being a for-profit company. That seemed to be central to Nintendo’s case against them. The company behind yuzu was making millions.

I thought 90% was defeating DRM and 10% was reducing download size. Doesn’t matter how quick the download is if DRM blocks you from running the game.

I don’t pirate games (any more) but my understanding is that FitGirl is one of the few crackers who can defeat denuvo, which means the only choice for pirates is repack.

None of my mobile devices are “necessary,” though. Honestly, I could live just fine without an internet connection. Not that I’d enjoy it, but that’s not necessary.

“Necessary” is a little ambiguous. You could argue that wifi is unnecessary for a normal home network.

Here’s my use-case, I’m pretty sure the first 2 are pretty common (common enough to be supported by most OEM firmware):

• main LAN
• guest LAN (isolated from “main” but can access internet)
• IoT LAN (isolated from internet, can be accessed from “main”; prevents devices from phoning home)

Openwrt works great for gigabit networks with simple firewall rules and no IPS. But used 10-56gbps enterprise equipment is getting pretty cheap, and more complicated firewall configurations need more powerful hardware than the typical openwrt router.

And 56gbps on a home LAN might be overkill, but that’s not important.

Of course you can upload code anonymously… Nintendo was able to sue the yuzu team because the developers made a company (Tropic Haze LLC) around it that apparently is worth millions. If they stayed anonymous Nintendo wouldn’t have had anyone to sue.

You can’t remove drives from a zpool though. So if you start with a small drive and keep adding drives as you fill them up, you’ll eventually run out of SATA ports and want to replace the smallest drive. The only way to do that is to create a new zpool and copy all of your data to it, which means you need a second set of drives that’s at least as big as the first.

Or you could add a pci-e SATA card, if you have an extra pci-e port. Used cards like the Dell PERC H310 are cheap and reliable and support 8 drive on their own, or >256 with cheap expander cards that can be daisy-chained (and only need power, so they don’t use up pci-e slots).
