Guys, I’ll switch in a heartbeat to a Linux OS if any one you can recommend a stable OS that works on a Surface Go 2. It should support its touchscreen, of course, and a Surface Pen. Plus, a FOSS alternative to Journal would be stellar
So it begins.

The PS5 version?
Lies of P surprised me quite a bit actually. I played the demo when it dropped and didn’t vibe with the game at all, so I lost interest. Recently I got my buddy’s PS4 which I jailbroke and installed a couple games on it among which was Lies of P. I’m enjoying the game quite a lot now and even though I haven’t finished the game yet, it feels like a good Bloodborne sequel in spirit.
Yea, exactly. We make the decisions together, discuss what to do next etc. I’m wondering, though, what co-op would look like if it existed
Lies of P when alone, Disco Elysium with my SO when we have the time, and Wild Rift most of the times when we don’t feel like playing DE :)
Ayy Lemmy.zip :)
I’m not sure if this is stretching it, but this comment thread is just so awesome. It’s like one of those moments on reddit that would be referenced for years to come
Do you know off the top if it’s intact if I “fully wiped” it during the installation of a different OS?
The process is super straight-forward and easy to do. Took me like 5 mins per 3DS
I see your point - haven’t thought of the comparison to games like Fifa
Sounds awesome! Hope your release went well and that people play your game! :)
I guess while updates like League’s recent big one that completely overhauls and changes core mechanics of the game, it’s still League from back in 2008 and not a new game entirely. Many people have been playing the game for almost two decades now (wtf?!) and could have been spending all that time playing new releases but didn’t. So in a sense, it could be seen as a patient game since it’s separate from all the new AAA releases of the recent years. Same goes for other live-service games, I guess
What’s your game?
I get that, I know what a graph is, but this is clearly meant as a meme, hence the lacking axis descriptions and scale, and the 3d rendering. It’s literally just a meme
Isn’t this kind of the point of the graph?
Yea, of course. Most Monster Hunter games are completely self-contained and can be played solo offline or local co-op (also offline). The older games do not adjust their difficulty when attempting guild quests since those are usually intended for co-op play, so the monsters’ health and damage numbers might exceed your current level. But if you’re not interested in those, pretty much every Monster Hunter game - including the 3DS titles like 3/4 Ultimate and Generations - has its own offline story mode and plenty of quests to play through.
If you have a friend to play with, local co-op is heaps of fun. Back when the series was reserved to the PSP, that’s how I got my hundreds of hours clocked in.
If you do end up trying out any of the 3DS Monster Hunter titles and do not have a New 3DS, do get a Circle Pad Pro if you haven’t already. It’s essentially a grip for the 3DS that makes the handheld bulkier and adds a much-needed second joystick for camera movement.
Cheers!
I see you’ve already posted this in the Sekiro community - thanks a bunch!

Thanks!
Fable 2 is peak childhood memories for me. Playing the game with my older brother, trying out energy drinks for the first time, staying up late… The nostalgia hits hard whenever I listen to the Temple of Light music.
Fable 3 is definitely the worst of the trilogy, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Definitely give the first and second game a go when you have the chance.
Thanks for the insight. I tried my hands at Kubuntu on an old laptop of mine and didn’t mind the few differences too much. From what I’ve heard on Lemmy, Mint seems to be a good all-around suggestion for new Linux users, though
